General Nano LLC (GN) was formed in September 2007 by a group of business and technical people from the Cincinnati, Ohio area. The company is closely affiliated with the Univeristy of Cincinnati (UC) Nanoworld and Smart Materials and Devices Laboratory. Joseph Sprengard is the president of the company. Mark Schulz and Vesselin Shanov make up the scientific team.
